The Traditional Military Art and the Olympic Hapkido dream are growing under the leadership of the USA Hapkido Union.

There is an international Olympic Hapkido movement gaining momentum and the USA Hapkido Union, Inc is poised to lead that movement in the USA. The Olympic Hapkido Program for schools will focus on three primary fields of study and practice.

First: Sparring matches are considered the ultimate competitive test of an athlete’s warrior spirit.

Second: Group Demonstration displays the beauty of our art with showmanship and precision moves.

Third: Character Development is taught to ensure that our Hapkido athletes learn the proper philosophy and moral aspects of being a black belt.

The sport will have subcategories for nutrition and performance training, leadership, coaches training, sports medicine, injury prevention, and first aid. Grand Master Sudesh Kumar of India is one of the World Leaders of the Olympic Hapkido movement and is a member of our Advisory Committee. Master Eric Laino is the USA Hapkido Team Sparring Coach. Grand Master Shane Miller is the Demonstration Team Coach.

The USA Hapkido Union already leads the country with our traditional arts program. This program has additional training in physical, mental, and spiritual training. Leadership development, leadership training courses, instructors’ courses, masters’ courses, weapons courses, philosophy, and history courses. Herbal studies and natural medicine training.

The moral character development will include a school character development program, instructor moral training course, and Masters Philosophy Course.

Leadership Training is the hallmark of our organization with the best training as we guide schools into the future of Hapkido development.

School Growth and Support is a primary function of the headquarters to focus on helping instructors attract new students and retain current students with the best events and opportunities in the Hapkido world.
